48 hours of hacking, in a chalet.
Build things. Get prizes.


HackLeChalet is a hackathon type of event, in a chalet (don't worry there's Internet).

You'll work in small teams, build the coolest project you can, and demo it to your peers.


Start: Friday, May 24th, 7pm
End: Sunday, May 26th, 5pm

We'll organize carpooling from the train stations of Strasbourg, Mulhouse and Colmar friday evening and sunday evening (we'll rent a bus if needed). Details will follow as we get informations from attendees.

Take a ticket here at Eventbrite. we have early bird tickets at 40€ until April 29th. After that date the regular price will be 60€. Places are limited to 50 seats so hurry up!

We'll provide sheets so you're not forced to bring your own sleeping bag, BUT, you'd better bring your own extension cord.

  • 10pm - Team Formation
  • 11pm - Competition starts!

Sunday, May 26th

Rules & Prizes


  • Teams can have from 2 to 5 members 1 to 5 members.
    Even though team can have only 1 member, we really encourage you to form a team before or at the beginning of the event.
  • Hacks can be hardware or software or a combination of both
  • You will be judged on what you make during this weekend
  • 2 minute demos, 3 minutes for questions
  • Have fun !

  • 3rd place: 3 Google Nexus 7 tablets (*)
